John brittain has been a keen angler forever. In 1991 he started his angling business Bluewater Fishing and has been doing it ever since.

If there’s room he will be fishing!

He has a keen interest in Pelagic Birds and the abundant whales dolphns and porpoises we come across, and runs BOAT trips for those interested.

The boat leaves from Cleggan, Co Galway, H71R573 which is 15 mins drive from Clifden and 1 hr 30 mins from Galway city.
Park in one of the carparks and Bluewater is the only green boat.
Olivers Bar serves coffee etc in the morning and helps the fish get bigger with the after fishing beer!!
